Do you have a go-to ice cream shop near your community of luxury apartments in Richmond? We think everyone should know exactly where to go to get the best ice cream in town, so we decided to create a list of the best ice cream shops in the area.
Check out our list below, and please be sure to share this post with your friends and neighbors at your community of Fort Bend apartments!
This is a really unique ice cream shop that offers tons of unexpected ice cream toppings. The “Cookie Doe” dish, for example, comes topped with Cap’n Crunch. They also have doughnut ice cream sandwiches and macaroon ice cream sandwiches — both of which are excellent.
Although the ice cream itself is awesome, our favorite thing about Stacked Ice Cream is the decor. We love the trendy block letters on the wall, and everything comes off as clean and well-organized. The staff members are friendly without going over the top, and the seating is plentiful. What we’re saying is, there’s no reason not to go here next time you get a craving for quality ice cream.
Ever had koi or boba? If you’ve heard of either of those two treats, you know that they’re difficult to track down in Houston. You can find them at Tasty Image chocolate, however, and they won’t cost you more than a few dollars.
This is also a frozen yogurt shop, and their yogurt is on par with some of the best frozen yogurt in Houston. It’s rich, creamy and can be served with whatever kinds of toppings you want. They’ve got fresh fruit, cereal, chocolate chips, candy and everything other topping imaginable.
Although James Dairy Treat sounds like an ice cream shop, and this is a list of the best ice cream shops in the area, we have to tell you about the burger baskets. You can get a burger basket for just $4.99! They also have chicken quesadillas and fajita tacos, but they’re known mostly for their burgers and ice cream.
This is a small mom and pop eatery, and they only take cash. Don’t forget to hit the ATM before you go! You’ll love the quaint feel of the restaurant, and the classic stick-on-letters menu on the wall. Grab a burger, finish your meal with some ice cream, and enjoy your afternoon at James Dairy Treat.
What this place lacks in spelling ability, it makes up for in flavor. This isn’t your average hole-in-the-wall ice cream shop — this is an Indian ice cream shop. Sure, they have standard flavors like vanilla, chocolate and strawberry, but they also have a huge selection of Indian flavors that you’ve probably never heard of before. Ever ordered pistachio kulfi? How about rasili rasmalai? Yeah, we didn’t think so.
We should warn you — this ice cream isn’t super sweet. It’s a little toned down from the over-sugary American ice creams. That doesn’t mean it tastes bad, it just means you shouldn’t walk in expecting to be blown away by sweetness.
Those are all the ice cream shop suggestions we’ve got for y’all this week! Thanks for reading the latest post from Echelon on 99.
